GUINOT GOOSE CLEAR TO TAKE OFF AT SEAFRONT SPECTACULAR

The world’s only formation wingwalking team, glamorous Team Guinot, will be starring at Arbroath Seafront Spectacular on 25th July 2009.

The daring wingwalkers will leave the safety of their static harness to sit on the leading edge of the top wing directly above the plane’s propeller as they soar above Arbroath at 100mph!

The breathtaking maneuver is affectionately named the “Guinot Goose” after the nickname of its creator, 21 year old wingwalker Lucy Foster.

Duke Acrobatie – French Stunt Bike Champion

Christophe, or Duke Acrobatie as he’s known, appears for the first time at the 2009 Seafront Spectacular, performing one of only a few shows in Britain. Christophe has been performing professionally for the past 9 years and has been riding motorbikes for the last 20 years – he has worked alongside some of the most well known names in car and bike stunts – he regularly competes and displays alongside Kevin Carmichael, who is also appearing at this years Seafront Spectacular, and he has also worked with the likes of Rémy Julienne, the famed stunt director of the original Italian Job, performing with Rémy at Disneyland Paris.

His display at this years event promises to be awe inspiring and heart stopping.

Classic Car Clubs on Display

There will be a number of classic and modified car clubs displaying at the 2009 Seafront Spectacular, with cars coming from all over Scotland to attend the event, a highlight for car enthusiasts. Old and new MINIs will be on display together with a number of BMWs, modified cars and the usual selection of rare and unusual classic cars. Many classic car owners only decide on the morning of the event what car they’ll bring, so it’s always a wonderful surprise to see what makes and models fill Victoria Park.
